New Port Richey, FL – May 15, 2019 – Delfield, a leading Welbilt brand in refrigeration, is launching a new line of blast chillers with more models available than before, promoting greater profitability and improved quality in any foodservice operation.

Each model can perform four cycles for blast chilling or shock freezing while offering a preset programming capability of up to 99 programs/menus, allowing you to store your most popular menu items at the touch of a button.  All units come standard with an easy to use electronic control package that includes a cycle control with core probe(s), temperature and time display, status display and an integrated USB for HACCP and alarm downloads.

This new offering includes additional models compared to Delfield’s previous blast chillers – you can still get the 5, 15 or 40 tray units, but we have added units to hold 10 or 30 tray capacities too.  We have the blast chiller for your application!

Delfield’s new blast chillers preserve the best food qualities, maintain flavor and offer a wider quantity of meals while reducing the waste and gaining time and space.

The particular software update for Convotherm 4 gas units has to be done by an authorised service partner (there are adjustment steps necessary).

Please ensure that only software which is suitable for the unit series is installed on your Convotherm unit. This software cannot be used for other unit types from the range. If this is disregarded, no liability will be assumed for malfunctions.
