New Port Richey, FL . . . Manitowoc Foodservice (NYSE: MFS) has announced that Gary Dykstra, VP Sales Buying Groups, will retire from his role of leading the company’s business with the USA Buying Groups at the end of this year. He will continue to serve as a consultant to the business. Chris Karssiens has been appointed to SVP Sales USA Buying Groups and will be replacing Dykstra in this role. Manitowoc Foodservice is also pleased to announce Phil Dei Dolori as SVP and General Manager EMEA and APAC.

Chris KarssiensKarssiens has been with Manitowoc Foodservice for 18 years and held multiple leadership roles. He most recently served as SVP of APAC based in Singapore. In his new role, he will be responsible for Manitowoc Foodservice’s work with dealer buying groups, foodservice consultants, and government markets (GSA). He will report to Bob Wonder, SVP Commercial Americas and will be located in New Port Richey, Florida. Earlier in his career, Karssiens worked at Scotsman Industries, Inc., Culligan International, and Sara Lee Corporation. Karssiens attended Indiana University.

Phil DeiDoloriPhil Dei Dolori will be assuming responsibility for the APAC region in addition to his current EMEA responsibility as SVP and General Manager EMEA and APAC. Dei Dolori has been with Manitowoc Foodservice for 9 years and has held different commercial and product leadership positions. He and his regional teams will focus on growing the company’s relationships with current segments and creating new strategies to maximize sales of Manitowoc Foodservice’s product and systems offering in these regions. On a product and operations level, he will work closely with the Global Product Line leadership located in each region to ensure best product quality, cost and delivery to all global markets. He will have a dual reporting line into Josef Matosevic, SVP and COO, and Hubertus Muehlhaeuser, President and CEO. He will remain located in Eglfing, Germany. Dei Dolori is board member of Cooper-Atkins Corporation and has served on the board of directors of the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM). He holds a bachelor’s degree from Connecticut State University, a master’s degree in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University, and executive education certificates from Dartmouth College and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
