Manitowoc Foodservice announces the appointment of Jonathan Akin to vice president of marketing for JacksonMay 13th, 2010New Port Richey, Fla. – Manitowoc Foodservice is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Akin as Jackson MSC vice president of marketing. In his new role, Akin will be responsible for leading Jackson’s product marketing initiatives including product line management, business development, and customer service. Akin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Louisiana State University and has seventeen years of experience in his field. For the past thirteen years, he has served in the Foodservice industry with roles in marketing, sales, product development, and operations. Akin resides in McDonough, Georgia with his wife and two children. Jackson MSC is a Manitowoc Foodservice company that manufactures dishwashers for the foodservice industry and provides warewashing solutions that include chemical sanitizers, conveyors, door-types, flight machines, glasswashers, pot washers, round dishmachines and undercounters.
