   Manitowoc Statement on Voluntary Recall of Scotsman Modular Cube Ice MachinesFebruary 26th, 2010New Port Richey, Fla. – Feb. 26, 2010 – The Manitowoc Company, Manitowoc Foodservice, and Manitowoc Ice are aware of a voluntary recall announcement issued by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission for Scotsman® Commercial Modular Cube Ice Machines (Modular Cubers). Consistent with the recall notice, Manitowoc recommends that any questions related to the announcement should be directed to Scotsman Group LLC by contacting Scotsman at (800) 541-0520 between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. CT Monday through Friday, or visiting the company’s Web site at www.scotsman-ice.com. Neither the Manitowoc Company nor any of its operating divisions or brands has ownership of or affiliation with Scotsman Group LLC at this time. The Manitowoc Company acquired Enodis PLC in October 2008, which included the Scotsman brand. Consistent with a decree by the US Department of Justice, Manitowoc completed the divestiture of ice assets from Enodis PLC in May 2009, including Scotsman Group LLC.
